Adolescence
Christoph Tobias Metzelder was conceived on November 5, 1980, in Haltern, Germany where he first got to be keen on sports. He began to play soccer at TuS Holders, for which he was dynamic from 1986 to 1995 as goalkeeper.
In 1995, he moved in the adolescent foundation of Bundesliga group FC Schalke 04, however left them after only one year later to join Preußen Münster.
Borussia Dortmund

The accompanying season was the best in the Metzelder's profession.
